- Cap with Providine-Iodine Solution, disconnect the catheter fro m the PD tubing and connect Providine-Iodine impregnated cap to end of tra nsfer set tubing, reduce
transmission of micro-organisms and contamination from air-borne pathogens. - Made of polyethylene (PE) and contains povidone-iodine solution to prevent bacterial infection of the tubing during peritoneal dialysis treatment.
- Each dialysis treatment should be replaced with a new cap to avoid infection.
